Our team is growing and we're looking for an experienced Business Development and Delivery Lead to drive business growth and ensure successful delivery of our award-winning value proposition across our core markets.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the Business Development and Delivery Lead is a technical, business and customer relationship management-focused role encompassing all aspects of strategic growth and delivery of our value proposition across current and future market segments. The Business Development and Delivery Lead will be responsible for identifying, pursuing and securing growth opportunities, and act as the key business point of contact with existing, potential and future clients to ensure client retention and business growth across current and future markets and segments.
Your Main Tasks and Responsibilities
Business Development
- Develop business and marketing plans in coordination with key team members to achieve revenue creation and growth goals and targets
- Drive the creation of leads to meet MASE's sales goals in current and future business lines
- Target and contact key decision makers and develop positive relationships to secure new business opportunities, sales volumes and market share
- Conduct market research and knowledge on competition across MASE's key market segments
- Build and maintain key relationships, develop and manage opportunities, monitor deployment projects and engage internal and external resources.
- Create strategies to close business deals
- Develop business proposals for existing and new customers
- Monitor and pursue RFPs, public and private tenders across current and target markets
- Maintain a dynamic knowledge base of clients, referrals, RFPs, opportunities, prospects, competition and other relevant data
- Participate in industry forums, client discussions, and conferences as a representative of the organization
- Manage the company's professional media presence on physical and virtual networks
- Manage the company's participation in NGOs, business networks and other corporate functions
- Collate and maintain a detailed project/client database
- Coordinate and lead discussions with senior-level team members on the introduction of industry leading products, vertical growth and other opportunities for sustained growth
Delivery
- Maintain close business relationships with clients and customers
- Ensure high levels of client satisfaction across all segments and deliverables
- Develop and propose business opportunities for customers
- Respond to client requests, requirements and asks, and coordinate with relevant team members to ensure proactive response
- Ensure successful delivery of business obligations to clients and customers
- Maintain close business relationships with partners, stakeholders, subcontractors and service providers and serve as their main business contact point
Your Basic Qualifications
- At least 2+ years of proven business development record
- Technical knowledge of solar industry preferred
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent professional English language skills (spoken and written)
- Professional, presentable and confident
- Results oriented
- Excellent task and time management
- Self starter
