Apply to lead our administrative, human resources, and talent acquisition operations
Our team is growing and we're looking for an experienced HR and Administrative Lead to manage all administrative, human resources and talent acquisition aspects across our teams.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the HR and Administrative Lead role encompasses all aspects of HR, including recruitment and talent acquisition, payroll, compensation and benefits, performance appraisal, and training. The HR and Administrative Lead will also be expected to regularly assess team resources across all operations and provide recommendations regarding human resources and talent to the Managing Director.
The role also includes administrative areas such as policy development and implementation, portal management, team functions and events, as well as other administrative tasks that may be relevant to human resources, talent acquisition, and tasks to support company leadership.
Your main tasks and responsibilities:
Human Resources & Talent Acquisition
- Lead and manage all aspects of human resources and talent acquisitions.
- Coordinate and implement the talent identification, acquisition, recruitment, hiring, retention, dismissal and attrition.
- Develop, implement and oversee the end to end process of performance management including periodical appraisal, assessment, and performance review processes. Provide guidance, coaching and training to employees and team members on the successful implementation of these processes.
- Analyze data and trends on performance management, in order to provide input to stakeholders, preventing the recurrence of known issues. Present this data to the Managing Director to support key HR decisions across teams and individuals.
- Work closely with team leads and managers to identify team hiring requirements, and lead the talent identification, acquisition and hiring process, promotions and demotions.
- Develop and implement HR policies and guidelines across teams and locations (currently Jordan and UAE but including all other future markets), including specific policies to align with local regulations and contractual requirements, as well as international best practices and guidelines (for example in compliance with IFC Performance Standards).
- Draft and implement job descriptions, roles, and responsibilities for all key functions. Ensure that teams and employees understand functions and roles.
- Continuously develop an internal authorities matrix covering all operations and teams. Ensure the effective implementation of the matrix.
- From time to time, travel to the locations to audit current practices to ensure that they are in line with the guidelines.
- Develop coaching and training programs in coordination with team leads and managers. Oversee the successful implementation of these programs.
- Support employees with career conversations, development plans/career growth plans and other development initiatives.
- Develop employee grievance mechanisms and lead their successful implementation.
- Maintain the fair and consistent treatment of employees by conducting investigations and disciplinary where complaints or misconduct arise.
Administrative
- Administrate records pertaining to all employee documents, contracts and archives
- Operate all HR and talent acquisition platforms such as Freshteam, LinkedIn, and any electronic and digital platforms utilized by the company
- Lead the compensation management process, including coordinating with the Commercial Team on processing compensation, provide guidance on compensation requests (employee loans, advances, etc.),
- Provide advice on queries related to understanding and communicating compensation, where needed.

Your Basic Qualifications
- 2+ years as an HR lead, manager or associate.
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent post-secondary degree.
- Strong analytical abilities; ability to use data to tell a story
- Ability to lead with empathy and earn trust across internal stakeholders and employees
- Excellent communicator and facilitator
- Experience effectively managing projects
- Ability to influence and coach employees at all levels in the organization
- Experience in conducting complex employee investigations
- Previous experience with HRIS systems
